Hey VOCO Crew!

We’re thrilled to share the highlights from our first adventure of the year!

The Journey to Begbie

Groups hit the road early in the morning, bags packed and buzzing with excitement for the 2-2.5 hour drive to Revelstoke.

Once we hit the trail, the excitement kicked into high gear! The hike was steep—no joke—but totally worth every step! After a solid 4-8 hours of hiking (with lots of snack breaks, of course), VOCO members successfully made their way up the Mount Begbie trail, covering about 7.2 km with a serious elevation gain of 1300m. One of the best parts? The views were absolutely epic.

We set up camp and enjoyed an evening filled with friends, fun, and the stunning sight of Revelstoke. The night was nothing short of spectacular, and we loved spending time with both new and familiar faces.

Glacier Summiting Adventure

Some of the VOCO members decided to take it a step further and attempt the summit! Excited and ready for an epic ascent they reached the famous Begbie Ledge. The views from the summit were reportedly breathtaking, making all the hard work worth it! After conquering the peak and taking in the views, they began the descent, tackling the steep trail back down to camp.

Looking Ahead

Whether you were hiking buddies or just met for the first time, it’s trips like this that remind us why VOCO is such a special community.
