Intro to Rock 2024

Welcome To The Wild West…

VOCO you rocked! The 2024 Intro To Rock was a huge success. We’re so happy you all had a blast, whether this was your first time climbing or you were crushing 5.12s. Thank you to all the members who joined us for an awesome day of climbing. Below are some highlights of the event.

Howdy Partner!

It was great to see so many of our members embracing the true Wild West Climbing spirit. Many people were sporting the classic cowboy hat look and the boots to match! We think it should definitely be a competition next year!

The rock was Steeeep

VOCO members ventured up the steep and legendary cliff faces of Skaha Provincial Park. Somehow these walls seemed to have way too many crimps and definitely not enough jugs. Some members joined up after the official event and practiced their traditional climbing skills.

Afterparty and Camping

One of the best parts of Intro To Rock is always the camping at a nearby lake, this year was no exception. Members spent the afternoon fishing and grilling while enjoying great company. The fire was reportedly massive . . . although it didn't help too much with the freezing temps at night.

Looking Forward

Thanks again to all members that came out and making this event such a great time for everyone. Same time next year??
